Bintoo Terms of Service

Welcome to Bintoo, a local Minecraft server hosting software. By downloading, installing, or using Bintoo, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the software.

1. Use of the Software

Bintoo is provided for personal, educational, and commercial use unless otherwise prohibited by applicable law or these Terms.

You agree not to:

  • Use Bintoo for unlawful activities.
  • Distribute malware or malicious software through servers hosted with Bintoo.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or redistribute proprietary components of Bintoo without permission (unless allowed by the software license).
  • Use Bintoo to infringe the intellectual property rights of others.

2. Minecraft Disclaimer

Bintoo is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Mojang Studios or Microsoft Corporation.

"Minecraft" is a trademark of Mojang Studios.

Users are responsible for complying with the Minecraft End User License Agreement (EULA) and any applicable policies published by Mojang Studios.

3. User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

  • The servers you create and host.
  • The content available through your server.
  • The behavior of players connected to your server.
  • Securing your own computer and network.

Bintoo does not monitor or moderate hosted servers.

4. Privacy

Bintoo is designed to run locally on your device.

Unless explicitly stated, Bintoo does not collect personal information from your hosted servers. If optional update checks, crash reporting, or analytics are enabled, they may send limited technical information necessary to improve the software.

5. Third-Party Software

Bintoo may interact with third-party software, plugins, mods, Java runtimes, or Minecraft server software. Bintoo is not responsible for third-party software or services and makes no guarantees regarding their functionality or security.

6. Updates

We may release updates, bug fixes, or new features at any time. Some updates may modify or remove existing functionality.

7. No Warranty

Bintoo is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Use the software at your own risk.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developers and contributors of Bintoo shall not be liable for any damages arising from:

  • Data loss
  • Corrupted worlds
  • Server downtime
  • Security incidents
  • Lost profits
  • Hardware or software damage
  • Any indirect or consequential damages

9. Termination

You may stop using Bintoo at any time by uninstalling it.

We reserve the right to terminate access to official Bintoo services (if any) for violations of these Terms.

10. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of Bintoo after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where the software developer or organization is established, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
